New website for Eurobitume

New website provides a single voice for Eurobitume

Eurobitume now has a new, fully integrated website, www.eurobitume.eu, which helps the Association speak with a powerful single voice for the bitumen industry in Europe.

Visitors to www.eurobitume.eu can access a wealth of valuable general, technical, health, safety and environmental information about bitumen and the bitumen industry in Europe in four languages - Dutch, English, French and German. The new website is also the single source of information for country-specific guidance and advice generated by the Association’s various local initiatives.

“An intelligent, responsive design makes the new website easy to use when accessed by mobile devices and tablets, while there is also a powerful search function which enables visitors to search for content by country, subject area and language”, explained Eurobitume Director General Aimé Xhonneux.

About Eurobitumewww.eurobitume.eu

Established in 1969, Eurobitume (the European Association of Bitumen Producers) is the unique voice of the bitumen industry in Europe, promoting the efficient, effective and safe use of refined bitumen in road, industrial and building applications.

Eurobitume provides a forum to share and develop technical and scientific information, with a view to continually enhancing the industry’s health and safety standards, as well as its technical progress. The association aims to provide clarity on technical issues relating to the European bitumen industry.

Eurobitume operates four expert committees - Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE); Technical; Public Relations and Communications (PRC) and Membership - each of which has intensive work programmes to provide guidance and support for members and their customers. These committees research the scientific and technical issues relating to the handling, application and long-term use of bitumen; produce relevant data for regulators; and provide expert advise and practical guidelines to inform best practice throughtout the European bitumen industry.
