Aus aktuellen Berechnungen wird deutlich, dass der im Vergleich zu anderen Materialien geringerer CO2-Fußabdruck ein Vorteil von Asphalten ist. Dies umso mehr, wenn die gesamte Lebensdauer betrachtet wird. Wenn man dann noch berücksichtigt, dass niedrigere Temperarturen bei Herstellung und Einbau an sich schon Energieeinsparungen darstellen, dann wird der Vorteil von Asphalt noch größer!
